Military Handset

Our military handset is for use with military communication equipment.  CJ Components offers a wide range of military handsets, including the CJ-H-F500 and CJ-HM-189 models.  Features include special cord assembly, 7 pin connector, noise cancelation, polycarbonate lexan construction and push-to-talk switch.  The microphone, earphone elements and PTT switch assemblies on the military handset are manufactured in-house, giving us the ability to control and provide quality standards we strive for.  To view all of our quality products, browse our catalog.

H189GR Handset

The H189GR handset is molded out of polycarbonate lexan and utilized on the tactical manpack, in vehicular and fixed station radio. The microphone on the H189GR handset is dynamic (150 Ohms nominal) as is the earphone (1.0 kilohms nominal).  With a six foot coil retractable cord with CJ229/U 5 pin audio connector termination and a push-to-talk switch, the H189GR handset is built to military specification MIL-H-55258.

H207VRC Handset

The H207VRC handset allows the user outside of a vehicle to communicate on vehicle’s interior radio, as well as with the vehicle crewman.  The H207VRC handset microphone is dynamic, noise canceling 150 Ohms nominal, as are the earphones with 1.0 Kilohms nominal.  This handset is sound powered with a 5 conductor 25 foot coiled retractile cord and built to military specification MIL-PRF-49078.  Contact us to learn more about our handsets, as well as our tactical headset microphone and H161U headset.
