The TA-1/PT telephone can be used in forward areas, in networks using magneto signalling switchboards, in closed nets, and in point-to-point circuits. This telephone handset has a sound powered transmitter and receiver, hand generator, and push-to-talk switch. The operator may receive either visual or audible-viual signalling indications during operations.
