H-250 Handsets
It was 10 years ago that CJ Component Products decided to enter into the military audio accessory market. It was the H-250/U Handset that formed the basis of our start and continues to be our present and future.
The H-250/U is a microphone/receiver handset used for tactical field communications requirements. It is manufactured to US military specifications and is normally utilized with manpack radio equipment such as the AN/PRC-70 and AN/PRC-77. The microphone element in the H250 is of the noise-cancelling type. The handset is equipped with a press-to-talk switch and a 1.8 m (extended) retractile cord, terminating in a five-pin audio connector (M55116/1-03). Microphone response is -56 dBm (0.63 µV across 150 {Omega}) with 1 kHz sound pressure input of 28 dynes/cm2.
Now 10 years later, CJ has placed the H-250/U as our base product of the CJ-H-250 Series Handsets. Making the entire handset, including all of the internal components in our factory, CJ not only produces a product made in the U.S.A., but also has total control of the design. The CJ-H-250 Series Handset is standard equipment with the PRC-152 Harris Falcon III, ITT SINCGARS and the Codan 2110M Radios. Working with many vehicle radio systems, such as the VRC-110, the CJ-H-250 Series Handset is the standard audio accessory.
