About Us

CJ started back in the 1980's supporting the major radio systems of the time, such as the AN/PRC-77 manpack radios, the AN/VRC-12 vehicular radio series and the AN/VIC-1 vehicle intercommunication radio system. After producing components for these systems supporting customers worldwide, it seemed like a normal progression to support radio systems with quality tactical audio accessories. Starting in 2000, CJ began manufacturing the H-250/U handset, which became the basis for the CJ-H-250 Handset Series, our primary product line to date.

CJ supports the standard range of tactical audio components. Our specialty, however, comes in the form of engineering our product line to meet your specification needs for your radio system. Products are upgraded, new technologies are added and new products are developed, all with the primary goal of offering solutions to enhance the user experience with the radio system.

CJ has a state-of-the-art modern production facility for our audio products. The microphone and earphone elements as well as the PTT switch assemblies are completely manufactured in-house. Latest audio end electrical test equipment is used and each product on average is tested up to four times during assembly. Services not done in-house, such as tool & die and injection molding, are performed locally with partners. All this gives us the ability to control the quality standards we strive for and the on-time delivery the customer demands.

It is the company's objective to seek to operate to the highest standards continuously and to work closely with both customers and suppliers to establish the highest quality standards. In March of 2001, CJ Components completed setting up its quality control systems and procedures to meet the specifications of ISO9001/2000. In May of 2010, we were audited and became a certified and registered ISO 9001/2008 firm.
