Land / Sea Operations
CJ Falcon Headsets meet the rigorous requirements of both tactical land and sea operations. Designed for multiple immersions, the headsets meet the needs of small boat, occasional swimmer and other marine applications, in addition to the primary patrol and dismounted infantry operations.
Situational Awareness
The headset provide excellent communication, as well as maximum situational awareness. Vented noise dampening earcups offer protection from eardrum damage, while maintaining peripheral hearing.
Low Profile Noise Canceling Microphone
Exclusive to CJ Falcon Headsets is our low profile, noise canceling dynamic microphone. The microphone is just 4 mm wide. The small diameter boom is adjustable by hand. For use in high noise areas, the microphone maintains excellent noise canceling characteristics with low distortion for clear communication.
Push-to-Talk Options
Standard on all Falcon Headsets is an in-line PTT with a 360 degree clip for clothing attachment, Designed by CJ, this PTT provides quiet operation, has a low travel time and is housed in a rugged and waterproof polycarbonate casing. With a 1,000,000 life cycle, this PTT is one of the most reliable on the market today.
An additional palm or finger held "Sniper" PTT is also available and standard on some models. This PTT may be fixed to the hand for thumb or finger actuation or fixed directly to the weapon. In all cases, allowing communication access with hands on the weapon.
Custom PTT designs incorporating volume control, dual input jacks for radio commonality and dual switch PTT's for radios with dual frequency capabilities are available from CJ for use on the Falcon Headsets.
Overall Design
The Falcon Headsets are designed to strap comfortably to your head and stay in place with a comfortable elastic mesh which fits underneath a military helmet. Fully adjustable with a Velcro strap, the slim earphone and low profile boom microphone are kept in place within this removable headband.
Radio Interface
The CJ-1220-HSxxx Falcon Headsets are designed as direct upgrade replacements for audio accessories currently used on the: AN/PRC-117; AN/PRC-152; AN/PRC-148; AN/PRC-154; AN/PRC-155. Adapted for use on most military radios used worldwide including SINCGARS and 2110M HF radios.
All models may be adapted to meet various communication system requirements and specifications. |
